Vihumbira Services Company SARL (SSV SARL) is a Congolese company established in 2014, headquartered in Beni, North Kivu province. It operates throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo in the areas of public works and infrastructure, transportation and logistics, general trade, consulting, brokerage, commission services, technical and geotechnical studies, and the provision of various other services.

The Technical Department (Works and Infrastructure), the company’s flagship department, includes engineers, technicians, and project managers experienced in the design, planning, execution, and supervision of road and infrastructure projects. Its expertise includes road construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance; earthworks; drainage and sanitation projects; and the construction of related works.

SSV SARL enjoys significant operational and material autonomy, thanks to a fleet of machinery and vehicles including dump trucks, transport trucks, hydraulic excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, compactors, pavers, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
This capacity allows the company to quickly mobilize its resources, reduce its reliance on rentals, and better control project timelines and costs.
This autonomy is further enhanced by its own material production facilities, notably an asphalt plant capable of producing approximately 15 to 25 20 m³ truckloads of asphalt concrete per day, as well as a crusher with a capacity of approximately 60 m³/hour of aggregates.

The company also has a newly acquired geotechnical laboratory located in Beni, dedicated to the study, testing, and monitoring of soils, aggregates, and materials used in its projects.

One of SSV SARL’s main strengths lies in its integration of engineering, production, transportation, and execution, enabling the company to control a large part of a project’s operational chain, from studies and resource mobilization to execution and quality control.

The Transportation and Logistics Department is also a strategic focus for the company. Thanks to its extensive fleet of vehicles, its equipment fleet, and its location in Beni, SSV SARL is able to ensure the transport of materials, equipment, and goods, and to develop intercity and regional transport operations. It thus contributes to the logistical connection of eastern DRC with the main trade corridors and port facilities of East Africa.

SSV SARL relies on qualified human resources, including administrative staff, engineers, technicians, site managers, foremen, geotechnical specialists, mechanics, equipment operators, drivers, and logistics personnel. This structure allows the company to deploy its teams and equipment across various sites according to project requirements.
