Transport et Logistique

The Transport and Logistics Department of SSV SARL is a strategic link in the company, responsible for the organization, coordination and monitoring of transport operations for goods, materials, equipment and supplies at the national and regional level.

Thanks to its strategic location in Beni and its knowledge of the operational realities of the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the department is able to organize transport operations on the main routes linking Beni, Butembo, Goma, Ituri and other areas of the East of the DRC to the trade corridors and port platforms of East Africa.

Motor vehicle fleet and technical resources

The department relies on a large fleet of vehicles, including dump trucks, transport trucks, specialized vehicles, tankers and light support and supervision vehicles, as well as the technical resources necessary for the management and monitoring of operations.

Planning and organization

Transport planning and organization.

Mobilization of vehicles

Mobilization and allocation of vehicles.

Carriage management

Management and monitoring of the motor vehicle fleet.

Transportation

The transport of materials, goods, equipment and various products.

Loading and unloading

Coordination of loading, transport and unloading operations.

Routes and convoys

The management and monitoring of routes and convoys.

Logistics and supply

Logistics and supply of construction sites.

Coordination of stakeholders

Coordination with clients, suppliers, drivers and various stakeholders.

Operations tracking

Monitoring the costs, deadlines and performance of operations.

Maintenance

The management of maintenance and availability of rolling stock.

Collaboration with the various departments

The department works closely with technical services, construction sites, suppliers and logistics partners to ensure continuity of supply and efficient mobilization of resources.

Thanks to its fleet, field experience and mobilization capacity, SSV SARL is able to offer logistics solutions adapted to demanding environments and to contribute to the economic and commercial connection of Eastern DRC with the main regional corridors and ports of East Africa.
